Amanda Snyder, RDH, Dental Hygienist
Amanda Snyder obtained her dental hygiene degree from Guilford Technical Community College. She graduated at the top of her class and was awarded the coveted North Carolina Academy of Advanced Studies Award. She was highly commended by her teachers. Her dedication to the dental profession is shown through her passion for individual, quality patient care and education. Amanda also attended Alamance Community College, earning other degrees and diplomas including Dental Assisting in 2008.
Amanda was born in the Texas panhandle. She returns every summer to visit her extended family. While not working, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Angela Russell, RDH, Dental Hygienist
Angela graduated from the GTCC Dental Assisting Program in 1992 and the UNC School of Dentistry Oral Surgery Assisting Program in 1995. After working as an oral surgery assistant for many years, she returned to GTCC and graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program in 2002.
Angela enjoys getting to know her patients personally and helping them improve their overall oral health.
When not at work, Angela loves spending time working and relaxing on her family’s horse farm.
Tammy Easter, CDA
Tammy obtained her dental assisting diploma from ACC. She has been a DANB certified assistant for 20+ years. She also finished top of her class in EMT training and has obtained her NC certification.
Tammy always has a smile on her face and will do anything to put a smile on your face. Having worked with insurances for over 20 years, she will try to guide you in getting most out of your benefits.
Tammy has three beautiful children. She loves vacationing in the mountains and enjoys many outdoor activities. Camping, fishing, and coaching softball to her daughters’ are few of her favorite past times.
Elizabeth Perez, DAII
Elizabeth Perez graduated in 2018 from Piedmont Dental Assistant School. She is a mother of three wonderful kids Eloise, Aiden, Abel. At 28 years old, she decided to go into dentistry.
At our office you will see her in both the front and back. She loves interacting with our patients and working with staff here each day. In her words, “ Our Patients are so wonderful.”
When she is not at work, she is with her kids travelling, going on adventures, exploring new places. Her favorite sport is roller derby. She also loves playing piano, reading and being with my kids. She loves to help people, making new friend, and she can’t wait to meet you.
Brandy Alderman, DA II
Brandy, mother of four, has been in the dental field for over 18 years, with many of those years spent around kids in pediatrics. She was born right here in Burlington and raised in Caswell County. She is a graduate of the dental assisting school at ACC.
At our office, she is responsible for assisting Dr. Saxena and has done a phenomenal job. In fact, people have described her as caring, attentive, easy to get along with, and always willing to listen. She goes the extra mile to quell patients' doubts and make sure they feel comfortable with their procedures.
When not at work, Brandy is an avid gardener, nurturing a diverse and colorful variety of plants and spices in her garden. Brandy is also a passionate animal lover and enjoys raising doves as a hobby. Furthermore, she often rehabilitates animals, highlighting her caring and empathetic personality.
Brandy loves being a dental assistant at our office and looks forward to meeting you!
Lauren Alves, CDA, Dental Assistant
Lauren graduated from Alamance community college as a dental assistant II. She loves dental assisting and learning. She is very comforting and warm when it comes to patient care. Patient needs are her number one priority. Lauren is originally from NJ, but now resides in North Carolina. She is funny and brings a lot of smiles into the office. She has an associates degree in general education and is working on her BS degree in Liberal Arts at UNCG. She is also a part of the National Honor Society, and would like to be a teacher in her field as a dental assistant. Lauren has a six year old daughter and a dog named Snoopy. Her hobbies include playing the violin, watching movies and fishing. She also loves beach, cooking, dirtbikes, and spending time with her family.
